Cecilia Durán, originally from Buenos Aires, is a singer, voice and sound researcher, intercultural facilitator and activist.

From an early age, Cecilia has been involved in socio-cultural activities linked to indigenous communities in Buenos Aires, exploring themes such as urbanity, migration, interculturality, and the emerging popular expressions of ancestral knowledge.

Her musical journey commenced in her youth, with a focus on the voice as an instrument and on somatic techniques and body self-awareness. Since 2013, she has devoted herself to researching ancestral singing and exploring the therapeutic potential of voice and sound from an intercultural perspective.

Since 2018, she has been part of the community Fuego Sagrado de Montserrat in Catalunya, where ceremonies, temazcales, and Vision Quests are held, following the legacy of Native American traditions.

Presently, Cecilia serves as a facilitator in Amazonian diets at the Niwe Rao Xobo center in Peru, collaborating closely with the Shipibo people. In Catalonia, Spain, she offers personalized singing classes and Voice Circles, alongside providing training in Ethics and Intercultural Integration in the use of master plants.

Committed to her musical project, Pampa Niya, Cecilia blends diverse cultural influences inviting listeners on a transformative journey of self-discovery.
